WASTE POLLUTION

Waste Pollution Problem

Land waste pollution (Municipal Solid Waste a.k.a. MSW) is one of the most pressing issues we face as a society to date. Garbage often contains dangerous pollutants such as oils, chemicals, and ink. These pollutants can leech (seep) into the soil and harm plants, animals, and people. With the knowledge of this leeching process happening, people still landfill MSW. As you can see from the graph below MSW continues to be sent to landfills in America near 125,000,000 tons per year.

EGPF's Counter to Waste Pollution

EGPF is working with QCI-MSW, LLC™ to counter waste pollution. QCI-MSW’s™ revolutionary technology increases recycling efficiencies and eliminates nearly all MSW sent to landfills.  The QCI-MSW™ technology is capable of reducing up to 100% of unsorted MSW by converting it to recoverable biomass, mixed plastics, various metals, and sterile inert residual that’s used in architectural fill or road bedding.

QCI-MSW machines eliminate nearly ALL garbage sent to landfills.

A single QCI-MSW™ system eliminates approximately 440 tons of waste per day, eliminating any emissions that come with it at near 100% efficiency.  The system will continuously generate 25MWh of electricity, while producing upwards of 12,000 gallons of liquid fuel daily. The economic benefits of this technology are significant, and of much greater value than any other waste-to-energy technology on the market today.

Virtual Landfills

Because QCI-MSW facilities recycle 100% of the waste received, these facilities now become “Virtual Landfills.”  Over the past one hundred years, the number of open dumps and landfills has dramatically increased around the world and are among the biggest contributors to soil pollution.  Just a mere fraction of what humans throw away is actually recycled.  Roughly 80% of the waste buried in landfills today could have been recycled.

Some of the most valuable molecules on earth, specifically the molecules that make up oil-based byproducts, built some of the largest and wealthiest companies in the world.  These same molecules also make up much of the plastic that is made today, yet at the end of life, are simply discarded by humans without regard.   QCI technologies, “re-mine” these molecules as valuable recycled byproducts before they ever reach the landfills or open dumps, keeping the land clean and pure.
